MuziTask (“we”, “our”, or “the app”) is a task and habit tracker for musicians, published by Amir Gelman. This policy explains what information the MuziTask iOS app collects, how it’s used, and your choices.
Information We Collect
When you sign in with Sign in with Apple, we receive and store:
- Name — used to personalize your experience in the app.
- Email address — used to authenticate your account (Apple may provide a private relay address).
- A unique account identifier (User ID) — used to sync your data across devices.
As you use the app, we also store:
- Task and progress data (task completions, XP, levels, streaks, release timeline) — so your progress is saved and syncs across your devices.
- Subscription/purchase status — to know whether you have an active Premium subscription, processed through Apple’s In-App Purchase system (StoreKit). We do not receive or store your payment card details — those are handled entirely by Apple.
How We Use Your Information
We use this information solely to operate the app: authenticate your account, save and sync your progress, enable Premium features, and provide customer support if you contact us. We do not use your data for advertising, and we do not sell or share your data with data brokers or third-party advertisers.
Where Your Data is Stored
Your account and progress data is stored using Google Firebase (Authentication and Firestore database), a third-party service that processes data on our behalf under its own security and privacy practices. Your subscription status is managed by Apple through StoreKit.
Your Choices
You can sign out of the app at any time from Settings. To request deletion of your account and associated data, contact us at the email below and we will delete your data within a reasonable time, except where we’re required to retain records by law.
Children’s Privacy
MuziTask is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from children under 13.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. We’ll update the “Last updated” date above when we do.
